2nd Annual Battle of the Bulls

Join us for Livermore Bulls Football League Fundraiser of the Year. This fundraiser supports the expenses for league equipment, training shields, helmets, pads, and cheer mat updates.  Funds collected also assist in the end-of-year celebrations for football and cheer.

 Coaches Corner 

Football and Cheer are very demanding and physical endeavors. It takes a lot of courage, commitment, and dedication to put themselves in uncomfortable situations and physically challenging themselves every day. Our kids are proactively choosing something that requires so much of themselves.

Thank you for allowing your kids to test themselves. To grow and face adversity and figure things out about themselves. To build a relationship with pain and discomfort. These are the gifts of the sport that go well beyond playing a game or performing stunts. These are the gifts we want them to take on in their lives to be better people.

Keep Hydrated 

  • Encourage them to drink water throughout the day.
  • Offer water-rich fruits and vegetables.
  • Watch your intake of sports drinks with high sugar.
  • Listen to your body: if you're thirsty, you are already dehydrated
  • Bring more water than you think to practice.

Proper Nutrition

  • Balance diet of rich fruits, vegetables whole grains and lean proteins.
  • Opt for easy digestible snacks like peanut butter, nuts and yogurt.
  • Avoid heavy greasy foods that can cause stomach upset. 
  • Aim for snacks 1 hour before practice.
